Groove Witness
Groove Witness is a seven-piece funk band that performs primarily original music around the Chicagoland area. Leaning into driving rhythms and jazz improvisation, Groove Witness brings high-energy to every show. The band features a hip rhythm section, tight horns, a versatile singer, and years of friendship that welcomes all audience members as honorary family at each performance. Venues have included Martyr’s, Tonic Room, Goose Island, FitzGerald’s Nightclub and Fitzgerald’s Sidebar, block parties, Chicago summer music festivals, and private events.
